Trojans voted No. 1 in AP poll; Tigers No. 1 in coaches'

USC finished No. 1 in The Associated Press college football poll early Monday, earning 48 of the 65 first-place votes.

The Trojans (12-1) beat out USA Today/ESPN coaches’ poll champion LSU, which defeated Oklahoma 21-14 in Bowl Championship Series title game the Sugar Bowl.
